Hello,

I was wondering if someone here who has this model of kershaw(Turbulence TG1) or one with a speedsafe can help me out with centering this blade. I've tried tightening the pivot but that doesn't even move the blade at all. The blade is off center to the non-locking side which is the right side (when the tip is pointed away from you and handle is in hand). The blade as of now is not rubbing against the liners but it's so close that I'm sure it will rub in I loosen the tension on the pivot, also I don't know if this is related but when I move the knife up and down I hear something rattling as if a spring was loose in the pivot area. Any suggestions of how I might go about fixing this?

well, I think you may be out of luck as to centering, although there are posts about how to try one last time. As per the rattle, that's normal in speed safe knives.

One thing that worked for my Buck Vantage Pro was to loosen the pivot, move the blade until it's centered, and then tighten the pivot again. Not sure if that trick works for all knives though.

Try loosening ALL of the screws in the handle and the pivot. Tighten the pivot to make the blade centered and then tighten the handle screws.

It worked guy's. thanks for your contributions. I was playing around with the screws in the handle and pivot until i noticed that the centering depends on one screw in the handle that really affects centering when its screwed on tight. So I loosened it up and put some lock tight on it and now the blade is centered and opens great.
