Kershaw Two Can handy, priced right, and dangerous(just kidding).

I just bought a Kershaw Two Can at the local knife show over the weekend about $20 neat little knife/keyring/scissors, but dangerously sharp and pointy.

It's a handy pair of scissors on a keyring that also can be used as a slipjoint folder.

The blades are chisel ground as scissors need to be but for opening mail or trimming tape, thread or paper(it cut 16 sheets of paper in one cut) it works great, as a knife it's almost as good as the knife blade on the Leatherman Micra.

For the $, a worthwhile investment but beware of the pointy part, 'cause it got me(see pics below) I was trimming the matted hair on our dog when the dog turned and pulled while I was holding the fur and about to cut.

Wound up sticking the blade into the upper fleshy part of my thumb:eek: (bled like a stuck pig for over an hour and a half), got cleaned up and was glued with cloth butterflys and sent on my way, ouch.

Call me knutz, I want another one.

T. Erdelyi, sorry to see the puncture you received. The Two Can is a sharp little sucker, and flies under the radar as an alternative to similar knives from other manufacturers. They do come in colors now as well. Hope you heal fast.

Thomas, it's a great little pair of scissors and as I was being tended to in the emergency room the nurse pulled ou a pair attached to her ID badge on one of those retractable keepers and offered to clip my hospital ID bracelet when I left.

Great idea I still have the new one on my keys(one suggestion, take them off your keyring if your gonna trim your dog;) )

BTW I didn't mean to imply the Two Can is dangerous, only when in the hands of an idiot(just see the above pictures if you miss my point)

Folks if you need a pair of small scissors for fishing, craft or for every day chores involving light cutting and especially if you don't really need the added baggage of some of the other folding scissors, the Kershaw Two Can will definitely fit the bill.
