kershaw tyrad or tad zt0300-dw

ok i am thinkg about buying 1 of these knives which 1 would you choose the tyrade or the tad zt0300-dw they seem to be real close in size if anybody has one of these knives let me know how you like it thanks for the help

Is it going to be a beater or more of a "pocket edc"? The Zero Tolerance knives are more robust if you plan on continuous hard knife use.

Don't have a Tyrad but own a ZT0300. It's a great knife, well made and opens hard. Imagine a AO Strider with all the Ken Onion ergos, then you get an idea how good this knife is.

+1, I have the 302 and 300 DW, both excellent heavy, hard use knives.

I've had both and prefer the Tyrade but I did have to change the clip to get that way about it. The ZT knives are flawless perfection. The one you are looking at is 8.1 ounces whereas the Tyrade is 6.5 ounces.

Both are heavy but I like the Tyrade better for the slimness also because on most of my pants I had to remove the 301 or 302 to get anything deeper in my pocket that I wanted. Its a pretty big knife to be pulling out in the wal mart parking lot just to get your car keys out. IMO. At least with the Tyrade I can slip my hand down around it.
