I recall during the summer when the different variations of Kershaw Tyrades were coming out, I thought I recall there was to be a Blue G10 one as well - yet I see no mention of it of late. For those in the know, is one coming?

The blue G-10 didn't meet Kershaw's expectations and that version wasn't made, as far as I know. Just the tan, orange, and black were released as limited production runs.

Yeah:( I don't know about you PG, but I was looking forward to the blue more than any of the other colors. That doesn't mean that I don't love having the black, orange, and tan in my collection!:D

Could the Tan scales be dyed blue?? I know that white FRN can be dyed, but I'm not sure about G-10. The Tan seems to be light enough that a dye would be seen clearly.

The dye job would probably not look very good because epoxy resin is pretty non-porous, so the blue would just sit on the surface and look cheap, wear off easily, etc. Just my opinion based on epoxy experience; I have never actually done this.

Bill is correct. If you really want blue G10 scales, contact Phillip Dobson. He can fix you right up.
