Just got my Tan Tyrade G10 this AM. WOW!! That is A LOT of knife. I was expecting something a little more simlar to the Kershaw Blur I have, but was super hyped to find it is a big solid hunk of knife. It is heavy (6oz +) but I love the feel and assisted action. Thick blade (4mm), thick liner lock (2mm) and as with any Kershaw I own.. excellent quality. Now I want one in every color!!

Two things I wish it had, but are minor:
1. Jimping for the thumb
2. Thumb stud to open along with the flipper.

I won't post pics b/c I know the ones already out there are going to be much better than anything I can produce.

Pick one up (but wait till I get one of each first):D!!

a great blade, a great design (especially in TI framelock version); i would want one...but the question to myself is, will i use it or just look at it?...i can't buy a knife just to handle it and hide it away...

I'll be using mine.. already broke down some boxes and will be using tonight to split the clay boxes in the trap house at the range.

There are loads of pics out there of the knife in detail. I could do some comparisons.. what do you want to see it next too?

Simple. I hate recurves. And it has a nice wide blade that would make a great drop point.

Tom Krein can do it. I asked him about it a couple months ago and he said he could take a little steel from the rear and a little from the front of the recurve to get the edge straight without losing too much CPM D2,

One of the things that I like about the Tyrade is the clean look of the blade without the thumb studs.

I still think the G-10 Tyrades are one of the best deals going in the knife business today! I got my tan last week and it has been in my pocket ever since. At the price the G-10 models go for it is not a very expensive endeavor to collect them all. Kershaw definately has hit it out of the park with these knives!
