I have not felt secure with the standard clip so I sent 1 of my Volts off to STR and he installed a Scallion clip. It is far more secure and it just feels better yo me. STR does great work and it was fast as well.

Now why didn`t I think of that

I do agree, the factory clip didn`t work for me either, that is why explored the other options and was happy to sacrifice a Scallion clip. It sits securely now, and is more comfortable in hand.

Did you also raise the Hinderer lock stop to level it with the handle? It really helps drawing the knife out of pocket with an even surface under the clip.

That looks nice. It "Fits" the knife, and doesn't look like an add-on.
