I might pick up one in the near future and didn't notice too many reviews out there. Just wondering if any members here had any fun with it.

It's a nice slim carry knife. I have one in my rotation because it's the right size and it disappears n my pocket. The clip isn't deep carry, but it carries low. For the price, it's hard to go wrong.

Wow... Jimmer, you probably have access to just about every knife in the Kershaw/ZT catalog, and this one makes it in the rotation? I'll pick one up for sure.

Oddly enough, this one wasn't for me. It was a cool piece, but something about the look and feel just didn't jive with me.

The asking price right now for the amount of knife you get, it's like they're giving them away :D

RJ has a knack for designing very usable knives, and when you combine the right size with the slim profile, it works nicely for me. I always find it kind of funny, but surprisingly often I end up carrying something like a Volt SS or a Cryo. The Knockout is another favorite - light and slim.

The volt ss is awesome IMO. It feels great in the hand, is a RJ design, and for a import kershaw you can't go wrong. I love the cryo, but I'd pick my SS over it for EDC right now! It is indeed a cool, fun knife. I showed peeps at work the knife and two co-workers actually bought it as well.

I've got a Cryo on me, as well. If you're vouching for it, I can't afford NOT to carry it

My wife got me mine for Christmas and I think it's a great knife like everyone has said. It's actually bigger than I was expecting.

I have one that will be going up on the exchange this weekend.
Kershaw Volt SS 3655: Never carried or used. No box - $20 tyd

I would call the scale and handle finishes a flat SS - a bead blast finish. Definitely not a glossy SS finish. About the size and shape of the Shallot. Nice knife.

Hi Don -

I had the chance to check one out a few days ago, as a friend at work showed up with one.

The knife has that great RJ Martin look and feel, with a beautifully sculpted blade featuring that nice RJ Thumb Ramp.

The knife is small to mid sized, and slim for comfortable pocket carry.

For the money, it is the sexiest knife out there in that size/price range, and it has all the quality that you expect from Kai products.

I will be getting some to give as presents for sure.

best

Jimmer wasnt kidding ,I ran into him today and sure enough he was carrying a Knockout and the man can have any KAI he wants im sure.

The Volt SS is a nice knife especially at the price.
It's light, thin, has a nice blade thickness in a thin package, slices pretty well, and is overall a great knife.

I really want to get a detent hole drilled so I can take out the torsion bar and have a manual flipper, a Blue G-10/CF scale, and have the blade, lock side, and clip stonewashed.
Then, it would be personalized, perfect, and probably a main EDC. =]
