Kershaw wave

I'm not particularly a fan of the Emerson Wave feature, which is why all of my Emerson brand and Ernest Emerson designed knives are missing the wave. Specifically, there are times that I want to pull my knife from my pocket without deploying the blade and the Wave makes accidental deployments more common for me if I'm not paying better attention.

FYI, Kershaw is just one knife brand that Emerson has allowed / licensed to use the wave feature. You'll also find it on various Emerson collaborations with Spyderco, Zero Tolerance, and other brands.

Top one = Cold Steel Black Talon II ,which comes this way (opened up , compared to other Cold Steel models ) .

Middle one = Talwar , is standard for wave thumb plate Cold Steel, from the factory .

IMO it can help catch the wave and prevent cloth being caught in the devise .

Fairly common mod also , but more than I want to attempt .
