kershaw whiskey gap

If you like the knife style, just pull the trigger, the AUS-6 from Kershaw is a good steel. Takes a good edge and holds it good enought for EDC use.(read, you may have to sharpen it more often than S30V, but it the knife "grabs" you, just go for it!)

That is a very nice looking knife and I am sure it is well worth the price. However, I have a Kershaw with the AUS6A steel (Vapor II) and I have been disappointed with the edge holding. It can blunt with a single hard cut. The steel is fine for light duty tasks (opening mail, cutting string, etc.), but don't let it even look at cardboard. I am not interested in carrying it as a do-everything EDC. Very close to SAK steel but possibly a shade better. It depends on what you want to do with it. It will certainly be tough, easy to sharpen and resistant to rust.
