Hey guys, I just picked up a new Kershaw 1660CKT knife with what appears to be a date stamp APR 08 near the handle on the blade. I've never seen this before and none of my other Ks have dates. Is this something special or is it not a date? Any help appreciated!

Kershaw put a date on some of their knives for a while, I don't know if it was all models or just a few, I do know that none of the current production gets a date though.

They stopped dates a few years ago but you can still find NIB KAI's with the date stamps.
