Hi there..

Is there a good Kershaw model with tanto blade ?

I´ll definitely gonna buy a Kershaw RAM, but I´m searching for a tanto blade too...
Does anyone like that blade shape too ? Is there any recommendations ?

Thanks in advance

The Groove is my fav. You might also want to check out the Blur.
It's just a matter of whether you want a flipper or AO.

They're all good.

Vincent... actually, I am looking for something with medium size (I don´t like "sword folders"), good quality, strong, with assisted opening or flipper opening.

Oh, and I don´t want a tanto blade with chisel edge (terrible to sharp them...). I want a tanto shape, but with normal edge.

It can be with black coating... or not. :D

Can't really think of a Kershaw like that right off the top of my head.
You could however do what I did........... ;)

There is a Mini Cyclone out there with a tanto blade that may fit the bill.

Guys, please, what can you tell me about a comparison between the Kershaw Blur Tanto and the Kershaw Black Cyclone Tanto ?

Which one is better ?

I´m looking for assisted opening, strengh, size, blade material...

The Cyclone looks tougher to me (specially it´s handle), but maybe it´s too big for pocket EDC. Otherwise, I really like the assisted opening system.

The Blur looks smaller, and awesome, but like I said, Cyclone looks tougher...

Is there a comparison between them ?

And the most important: ARE THEY CHISEL EDGE ?? I hate chisel edges...

Every time I'm in Wal Mart I peek into the knife case (to see what's new) and there is always a tanto Blur there, among other Kershaw's. No Cyclones though. :(

The main difference is that the Blur has a thumb stud and the Cyclone has a flipper and a thumb stud. Both are liner locks with 13C26 Blades. Oh and you can turn "off" the speedsafe on the Cyclone. It's a really cool knife !!

wait there is a mini with the tanto blade? i thought it was only the full-sized version.
Yes , we made it as an exclusive. Pretty short run, and it was lasered under I believe the "Homeland Defender" name. Fear no Evil and some such thing.
