Kershaw Zing Help please

Well, a few days ago i tried to swap my zing to leftie, diddent work, so today i decided to clean it. and i noticed that the left side screw holes have no threads in the liner. could someone please open up there zing and see if it is the same? do i need to send this back to Kershaw? i am totally bewildered by this!
 
Just checked both of my Zings and the liners are threaded on the lefty clip side. that's weird. I would definitely contact customer service. Send it in, and they'll make it right for sure:thumbup:
 
I just looked at mine and looks like no threads on the left:confused:Anybody else?Regards Butch

this is weird, unfortunatly i cant send it in for a few days.. i need something to take its place while its gone..
 
I think it's a Kershaw conspiracy against lefties. The OD-1s I just got in don't have the lefty holes at all. The older one I had did.

Ask them to send you a new liner. Then your knife will only be out of commission for a few minutes. It's better than waiting days for it to travel in the mail there and back.
 
I bought a orange Zing for Christmas. Same thing happened to me, no lefty holes.

I sent it back to the factory and they fixed it. No reason to mess up a new knife.
Although you will have to pay postage.
 
Looking at my orange zing, it has threaded holes on the left side, threads are barely noticeable, but they are there.

Phillip, you are correct. There has been a righty letter writing campaing to Kershaw and Congress to ban the manufacture and import of left hand carry knives. It is all part of a larger plot to have all lefties deported to Canada. :eek::p:D

I checked my Zing and the left hand holes (read: unused/wrong/unnatural ;)) are tapped.

We righty's don't want you deported. Who would we make fun of? :D

Just report to the re-education camp nearest you!
