I really can not say enough positive about how much I am impressed with my recent knife order.

I just recieved a ZT 0300, a Kershaw JYD II Composite blade and a cpm-154 steel Kershaw Blur from "Kershaw Guy" all blems. I have looked and and looked and there is no where I can find a blemish on these knives! I'm sure one exists, I just can not find it.

These knives came as "fairly" sharp blades. My question is...will the manufacturer still sharpen the knives for me (at no more than shipping cost) even though the knives were sold as blems?

I know it has been said before, but, +++1 for "Kershaw Guy". The knives I received seem damn near perfect. Sold to me at 1/3 to 1/2 or less of what I could find elsewhere.

Just my 2 cents, OK? For all you knife entusiasts...Kershawguy seems to be a teriffic resource!!

I think that if they have the XXX mark on the blade, signifying a blem, that there is no warranty or free sharpening. Sometimes, you get a blem without the XXX markings.
Send them to Richard J. for the best sharpening job available, and for just a few peso's. His rates are very fair and turn around time is QUICK You won't be disappointed.

Omar

He is a member here, search for "paper wheels" and you will find his name and then send him a PM. I guess you could also search for Richard J.

They Will Sharpen them if you send them in. They just won't fix them if something was to break or fail.

Thanks for clearing that up Chester, I had heard they would not work on them, and assumed that meant sharpening also. Appreciate your input. Good to know!

Blessings,

Omar

Another vote for Richard J., I have a second batch of knives in with him now, makes over $2500 worth in the last few weeks. He puts a fantastic edge on them for a very reasonable fee, and is helpful and easy to deal with to boot.
