Kershaw

That's about as clear as it gets. Only the higher-range Kershaws are made in America. $30+ usually.

Knives like the Leek, Blur, etc.

If you go to their site you can filter by "Made in USA". Then just choose one of those that tickle your fancy.

If you were "took"it was by your own failure to research the product you were buying. I would have to assume that you are fairly new to this community. So, I guess there is a learning curve in anything new. Just try not to blame others for your own faults. And also know that even the Chinese made Kershaw's are pretty good knives and a great value.

Kershaw's business partner in china does an excellent job of heat treat on 8cr13mov steel. The kershaw imports are fine blades.

The great thing is, if you cross out China and write in any location no-one would be any the wiser!

Vapor III 1655.
I am not disappointed in the product just thought it was made in USA.

To be honest that is a great knife. I have to II variation and for the money it is well rounded. If you like cheaper frame locks, check around the wally world's and see if you can find an OD-1(not OD-2). Around $30 and a framelock. It's US made fun to flick.

Happy to hear you're satisfied with the knife.

As to the Country of Origin, the Kai Corporation has facilities all over the world. http://www.kai-group.com/e/location.html We've just recently opened up our 2nd facility in Vietnam. Our products are made in many countries.

While there is an assumption that Kershaw is an all American made line, it just isn't a reality, never has been. Kershaw products have been produced in many countries such as Japan, China, Germany, Taiwan, Sweden, and the US.

Ultimately all our employees in every country we produce in take great pride in the quality of our products, and value our most important customers.

Hell, if I worked for Kershaw, I'd be happy, too. I'd have a smile on my face daily, man.
