Hey all,

I just wondered if any of you like Ketchup flavored potato chips?

I tried them a few times and really like them. I can't seem to find them around here. Someone I know sometimes brings them from Canada for me because they are all over up there.

I usually get Lays brand. Anyone else like them?

I also like Lays Dill Pickle chips :)

MMmmmmm.... Good.

You can order Herr's "Ketchup Chips" on line (via Amazon).

I've never heard of Lay's "Ketchup Chips." Yanked a search and they are only made by "Frito-Lay Canada."

If you do a search. . .there is a Canadian outfit that will ship them to you. :D

With all due respect to Canadians, ketchup chips are awful. :barf:

Ditto...ditto...ditto :barf: :barf: :barf:

But then again, my wife and I like Tom's Vinegar and Salt potato chips so I guess I can't be too critical :)

Like Gigone said, Herr's are the only ketchup chip I've heard of. Made in Lancaster Pa. not far from where I live. Never tried them.

Don’t like 'Ketchup Flavoured' chips? Try ‘Roast Chicken’, ‘Buffalo Wings’, or ‘Szechwan Beef’ flavoured chips. Do you Americans have these bizarre flavours, or are they just in Canada? :barf:

I had them a while back...
also,
some of the guys may remember the Frank and beans MRE's where they had the little packet of powdered ketchup.. I used to sprinkle those on chips and popcorn...

My favorite chips are the Cape Cod Brand firecracker barbeque chips...

Since lots of people put ketchup on their fries what's the surprise about ketchup chips ? ...Cape Cods are good especially the Russet.

A friend from work is going up to the Utz plant in Hanover and the Herrs plant in Nottingham, right over the state line heading north on Rte 1. Ever been there? I'm very familiar with both areas, but never stopped into the plants. If you're up Nottingham way, try breakfast at the Old Post House, best western omelettes I've ever had.

Dang. I wish we had those down here in the US. I think Canada is the place for good chips :)

Ketchup chips is the shiz ditty! Fear not Ketchup chip lovers there is a company in the USA selling these and they ship them.

http://www.unclerays.com/

If you are from the midwest and remember a brand of potato chips called "Cabana" Uncle Ray used to own that company. He sold it and then years later got back into the snack food business and called his new company Uncle Ray's

They had the buffalo wing flavor in the vending machine at work. Silly me, I thought it would be hot sauce flavor with a little blue cheese flavor. It had the chicken flavor in there too. Not my favorite chip flavor!

If I could track down the company that made the ketchup powder, I would be a happy man indeed!
