These big boys are special to knifemaker Kevin Evans in Paris,MO. They represent significant progress in his craft: first thru-tang construction, first damascus guard(s) and first curved S-guard. Kevin forged the damascus blades in random patterns ranging between 288 and 418 layers. He also secured three magnificent pieces of Walrus ivory for the handles. Very nice work all around.

WoW, outstanding knives and outstanding images.

All very nice, however that "S" Guard Bowie really does it for me.

Congrats Kevin, you are progressing substantially.
