Kevin The Grey is MIA??

I talked to him a while back, and he said he would be offline for a while. I hope he is well and will check in with us before long. Yup. I care. And 'ol Cliffy needs to check in too.

I think so. He just needed some R&R downtime. We all do at times. Sometimes life gets...real. And we have to deal with it. I like him as I like everyone here, even the riceburner guy. And the guy who thinks he is a wolf. Did he ever mention his work with youth? Or his involvement in teaching woodcraft at reenactments? Maybe we can force him to post a picture of him with his young hunter. And I still need to do a photo set showing me working the bison rib bow drill he made me. But dangit, he has the good camera. All I have are knives!

Yeah, I've wondered Where's Kevin? We live just across the border from each other, we've had fun throwing jokes...I'm sure he'll be back.

We all like ya right back, Codger. I have to admit, as forums go, BFC is "light" on trolls and idiots posting, compared to others. And as discussion groups go, this forum is one of the most respectful, easy-going...and (hoping I'm not jinxing it) troll-free groups here.

Must be the holidays, when even my mood can perceptibly lighten.

Agreed. There seems to be a large pool of fairly laid back and knowledgable people and a lack of trolls and miscreants. I too am hoping this doesn't jinx it. It is also nice that they don't mind sharing what they know and don't go ballistic if someone has a different opinion. Or, God help us, they are actually allowed to explain their reasoning. :eek:

And I hope all is well with Kevin also.

I think Kevin had mentioned a while back in the HI forum that he might not be online as much because he wasn't going to have internet access for a while.
 
Correct, that's my recollection. He emails me fairly often, and didn't indicate we should be worried about anything.

Maybe he's working on his new show for Discovery under his pseudonym of Kevin "Bear" the Grylls?
 
Yeah that's what he said something about him losing his internet connection soon.

I miss him cause he always keeps the conversation going:thumbup:

Or was it, "Kev vs. Wild"?

either way, we need him back to keep things "lively".
