Kevin Wilkins Avalon!!

I have been wanting a Kevin Wilkins' knife for a long time now. I have finally managed to score one!! Wahooo. I just did a trade for a Cyan Avalon 2. It should arrive on Monday. I can not tell you HOW excited I am about getting this knife!! Excited does quite cover it!Here are pix, but they are courtesy of Gary Moore, of Moore Custom Cutlery. Thanks for looking!!

Hot digitty it arrived to day!! Man, I love this knife!! It is smoooooooth, blade is dead center, and sharp!! The lock is a little tight, but I am sure that it will improve with use and has, as I have been opening and closing it since it's arrival. This is an awesome, awesome knife!! I am happy with it. It feels like it is made for my hand. I also like the fact that it is tip up, just the way I like 'em. Pix do NOT do the color justice either. The cyan is such a beautiful blue.

I have been playing with my new knife, and the more I do, the more I truely love it. The blade to handle ratio is perfect, it feels like it was made for MY hand. This knife is so smoooooooooooooooth. I have many custom knives, and this one is the smoothest! Kevin, you make AWESOME knives!!

If you get a chance to get a Kevin Wilkins knife, DO it!!

TKC, tell us the blade length and open/closed length on this one. Tell us all the specs.

The blade is 3 inches, over all length is 7 1/8. the blade is BG-42. The handles are cyan aluminum, and the liner is blue anodized titanium. It locks up like a bank vault. The blade is dead center, and wicked sharp. The handle feels like it ws made for MY hand. It is a really great size for EDC. The thumb hole is also beveled, so it is very comfy, no rough edges. Even the back of the blade is nicely designed, and thought out. The backspacer is synthetic. And it is an Avalon 3, NOT an Avalon 2.
