Course your NOT going to put it in your bug out bag! Lol

I am thinking this is awesome for long term survival use. Arguably more useful than a safe full of guns? I am looking into growing and storing more of my own food. This more long term stationary than a short term mobile tool.

A the price was right. I bartered some labor and got this and jars and a set of shelfs to store it all on. All for about three hours of work.

Brings back memories from my child hood. My Mom and Grandma both canned with one of those.

Great stuff Mark, they used some that looked just like that in the Alaska experiment show !

I wish that I had a dime for every green bean I broke into 3-4 pieces sitting on my grandma's front porch that went into her cooker to be "canned" (a Mason jar). I can still hear that cooker whistling in her farm kitchen . . . . Great memories, greater 500 rum card games that night when we got to stay up late . . . .
Thanks for bringing back some great memories . . . .
Be safe.

Well, I knew it was a pressure cooker (my mom and grandma have both used them around me enough for me to know that) but I certainly don't know how to use one. Very cool, though!

That is a pretty good score. Can't beat a pressure cooker for fixing up rabbit and squirrel too.

It brings back great memories for me also! Over on the coast its easy to catch jack mackerel and other small boney fish. I think this will be the ticket!
