I am looking for a good "key" knife/tool for carry on my keyring. The ones that look similar to a key.

I have seen several difference versions of these. some cheap ones are plastic, others are made of metal. Some have a knife blade that slides or swings out of the "key", others add screwdriver blades, etc.

I found on in the US Cavalry Store catalog that has a combination straight and serrated knife blade, regular and Philips screwdriver blade.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks.

I have a "utilikey" that has come in handy on many occasions. It's also very inconspicuous when it's next to the rest of your keys.

The Utilikey is the way to go. Neat little tool.

They make great Christmas gifts also.

Another vote for Utilikey. Once you go larger, like into the Sebertech stuff, you might as well get a mini tool. I use the SOG Cross-Cut for my mini tool.

Can you imagine if you forgot and left one on your keychain when trying to board a plane? You could get royally screwed.

Surprisingly enough, REI currently has them at $11. If there's one local to you it will save you on shipping.

The cheapest price I've seen is at Botach Tactical, but they are not the easiest or most reliable place to do business.

If it were me I'd pay the extra buck plus and buy it from Bayou Lafourche. Their prices are good and their service is always wonderful.

Actually, before 9/11/01, I did carry my utilikey. I had never had any problems. Now, I would definately check my key ring beforehand!
