I'm looking for a hopefully....:) a keychain style knife that is serrated and locks in the closed position and open ? I have a Spyder keychain knife that works great but from time to time it has opened on me on my key fob and could of been a nasty accident. I use this at work for different tasks so something small would be great like the Spyder serrated knife...if there's anything out there like that.

Any suggestions welcomed.....

Kershaw Chive. It's about the same size as the small spydies and has a tip lock that you can use to keep it from opening.

You can buy a small kydex sheath for your spyderco ladybug, manbug and attach it to your keychain. Knife comes out when needed without being attached to a keychain.

SOG flash 1? they are a little silly, and the way the sog assist works, if you have not used them before, they do have a bit of play, but its just a bit of pivot wiggle.

It's not serrated, but the blade locks both open and close, and in three different positions that gives you different blade lengths. Very light and compact, easy to operate with one hand, and has replaceable blades. Old family company in Freemont Ohio. The Christy knife.

With blade closed.

The one above is about 40 years old and very worn blade. New one still in box pictured below.

This is an awfully heavy knife for that role, and none of the currently made variants are serrated. SAKsRCool's idea is the best solution.

Not that heavy and with the clip you can make sure your keys stay put. I do prefer my keys with a Ladybug though.
