Was down in Los Angeles a month ago at a cigar shop ... saw these sweet little butane lighters that were about two inches tall x 1 inch wide. They looked to be made pretty well. Anyway the guy had 20 of them (Black & Silver) all bound together with a rubber band and would not sell them, saying they were for a special customer & they were not made anymore anyway.

OK I WANT ONE NOW DAMMIT!!!!! Anyone know of something like this?

Thanks,

Ryan

I've been keeping my eye out for any kind of lighter with the means for attaching it to a keyring. No joy so far.

The only thing that may function as a keychain/keychain lighter is one of the Windmill lighters. They have a wrist lanyard attached to them. Just bought one myself. Have not had the chance to buy butane to fuel it yet.

yup, got two of those puppies.

This one makes for a descent chain lighter, just a tad too big for my lightweight needs:

I've wrapped a lighter with leather shoelace or 550 cord and ended with a loop. That works; the problem is finding small lighters. I have a couple that are 3 1/4" long and 1/2" diameter but the convenience store I got them at sold out in no time and couldn't get any more. That was about a year ago and I've never seen them for sale anywhere else. They are refillable but the flint is not replaceable. Plastic body and they were cheap, about a dollar.

Sure looks like a Windmill lighter to me.

* The one linked here is a zippo like one, not butane.

They seem like a perfect butane fit, except the one I was sent didn't work. Might have to try again on this baby.

Cool too!

I took some 550 cord and attached my keys to my delta windmill butane lighter. Now i never forget this essential part of my survival kit!
