Keychain Multi-Tool WITHOUT knife?

Is there such an animal?

I always have some type of knife in my pocket anyway, and have been using different combinations of flashlights, bottle openers, P-38's, screwpop, and keychain screwdrivers, but would prefer to have several tools in one small package, but just not a knife.

I'm not tied down to any required combination of tools. I realize what might be perfect for me probably doesn't exist, but if I could get several tools in one small keychain package, I could add one or two other things to make my perfect EDC. I would like pliers, though, if such a thing exists.

Swiss Tech make some small keychain tools with pliers with little or no knife blade.

I dont own one though so cant comment on their effectiveness or quality.
 
Ever considered a leatherman squirt p4 and breaking off the blade? It's a great multitool for it's size and price (around 20 dollars on the net). The blade is small and thin, I wouldn't see it giving you much trouble in breaking it off.
 
Thanks- I had looked at the Squirt- and I may pick one up. I wasn't familiar with SwissTech at all- they have some neat little items, too. For the price, I may just get both. You never can have too many gadgets!
 
You might consider just taking the blade down to half an inch, squaring it off, and dulling it to your liking. It'd make a handy box opener/scraper. I did that with my LM Wave once upon a time when I broke all but the last inch of the serrated blade off prying open a box:o...hey, I was young;)
