The magnetic phillips on the tiny SAKs sounds like a neat idea. Has anyone ever had issues with it affecting credit cards or electronics while in the pocket?

I have a Rambler on my keychain, and I keep my phone in the same pocket as my keys. Haven't had a problem at all. It's a pretty weak magnet really. Being a computer geek, I have magnets mentally labeled as public enemy #1 in my head - but nothing has gone wrong here yet *crosses fingers*.

Thanks. I figured if the used it so much it would not cause problems but I wanted to check anyway.

The blade on my EDC Benchmade has become magnatized through use. It has not affected anything else that I carry in my pockets.

Thanks. How close is it to your cards?
Oftentimes, the wallet seperates them. However, I have also occasionally had one or more loose in the pocket. Once or twice, I have even used the pocket clip as a sort of money clip (though I rarely do that).

By slightly magnetized, I should enphasize that it is good for picking up staples and small paperclips, but nothing more.

My understanding is that it would need to be a much more powerful magnet to have any affect. carry your Rambler with confidence.
