Aloha ALL,

Well, when I got home from Hell, I found this envelope from BokerUSA. In it were two KEYCOM's from our very own TJT, aka Terry. They got here FAST, and I am stoked. Mahalo MUCH Terry!!!

Okee Doke...Maarten alerted me to some pics of the KEYCOM elsewhere, but the pics were hard to see. Not that I did much better, but FWIW, here is the serial numbered PE KEYCOM next to my Spyderco Jester:

Now, here is the KEYCOM among some "other Knives"...

This lil' bugger is a pocket/keychain Lightsaber!!! If you plan on pocket carry, you could add a fob...I might do so since this one is tip down, so my fob will not be exposed and flopping all over the place. One thing I gotta say is that the KEYCOM, as small as it is, opens very EASILY via the pocket clip. Now, there is no stud for lefties to use, so with my left hand I use the blade spine to open it. The KEYCOM has a nice "in fingers" feel, and is a deceiving lil' knife. So small, yet feels "big" enough to do pretty much anything in an "urban environment". One thing is certain, this will NOT scare anyone in the office or if used in the general public's eyes...at least I don't think so.

Throw this on the key ring and your keys will act as a fob...it's all good. However, I plan on clipping this sucker wherever I wanna..."just because".:D

ONE PROBLEM: Check out my logo...it's missing a dot!!! Once this gets fixed, which I hope it will, these "two dot CLB Keycom's" *may* be collector's items!

Anyway, gotta go, but just had to share the fact that the KEYCOM's have arrived in "less voggy" Hilo!!! Mahalo much Terry...you da man, and these KEYCOM's are friggin' deadly cute.

God bless and thanks guys!

holy crap those are much smaller than i realized, and even makes the Subcom look big. I love the looks of the thing and it might just replace my SAK on my keychain.

thanks!

Wow. This little knife looks so nice. Great pictures. Smaller then i expected, which is actually good. And it even has a clip. Great knife. Wouldn't mind having my keys on this little bugger. And maybe there will be a bigger brother in the future too.

So has anyone found a place with these in stock yet. I need a (another) fathers day gift for myself.

According to my knowledge all silver bladed versions already sold out on first batch... Only black bladed Ti coated ones available till the next batch. Here in Europe i guess they will sell like crazy . I guess MOI will beat me this time... I did not pre-order early enough loll.

Further more there are rumours about a right hand tumbstud that is screwed on and unscrewable to change to left hand screwable?

Terry or Tobias : can you confirm this rumour????

Maarten;)

Gotya:D and the Rampage, perhaps the Edit too:cool::jerkit:

I placed an order, and I regret it. I have these pre-ordered some where else. I just don't know if the Knife Center really has them. My normal test is to check Ebay, normally the first of any knives somehow end up on the 'Bay. No Keycoms on the 'Bay... we will see what happens this week.

This looks like a great design - I think this will be a handy little knife and I like the blade shape a lot. Looks almost like a clip-point wharncliffe. I prefer a wharncliffe or a blade with very little belly for my daily cutting tasks and I will definitely pick up a Keycom.

Big thanks to Chad and Boker for all these affordable and high quality knives.

You're welcome, bro!

I will look into the thumb stud question as soon as I have time.
Should know by tomorrow, I hope.
Thanks, Terry

Congrats Chad! Amazing lil scalpels, have to get at least one! :D Hope the CLB logo`s gonna be fixed soon. Thanks for the pics and review Bro.

I thought I would never say (or type) these words, but those things are so cute! Looks like they would be the splinter pickers to end all splinter pickers!
