Just finished this up for the ECCKS show. Blade is 3-1/2 inches long, 1/8in thick and made of A-2. The blade is a modified tanto design with the false grind leaving the point very strong. Scales and clip are titanium. The coloring was done with a torch and a special technique to get great colors and some weird patterns. Opening per the keyhole shape cutout in the blade. Overall length is 8 inches.
Thanks for looking,
Chuck

Awesome looking knife... I'm just a bit confused by the heyhole. It looks like it was rushed, and (at least to me) doesn't seem to have any relation to the rest of the knife.

I don't like the keyhole. It seems to me to be forced in there. Plain thumbstud would be better.

The knife is awesome, but the keyhole seems off. It is too close to the top edge of the blade, almost no steel left above it. I am in no way slamming your work, just offering constructive criticism. The keyhole just doesn't match the elegant lines of this fine piece. That knife is begging for a - GASP - subdued nail nick opener like a Mnandi.

Just my opinion.

I like the keyhole. Unique look, a little meaner looking. I do think it could be a little smaller just to give more material BUT I do see how that could it make so small as to be difficult to use. Overall I really like the look, very sleek and "dangerous" looking but sophisticated.
