Does anyone have an innovative solution for secreting a car key on the outside/underneath of a car . It would actually be two keys . A car key and house key . Don,t bother mentioning magnetic holders or wiring it on someplace unless it is a unique application .

If it can apply specificaly ( Sp) to a hyundai Elantra 2002 all the better .

They make gas caps with a combination lock and they have a screw on plastic tube that hold about two keys. I got mine from some guy in Oregon. Google will probably pull them up. Keeps folks out of your gas tank as well. Keep a $50 bill in there as well. Never know when you migh need it.

Terry thats a neat idea . My gas cap has a door which only pops open from the interior . If I could open that it may be a solution .

You could start picking up keys at yard sales and such, and then stick hundreds of them all over your car with magnetic key holders. Only you'd know which one was the right one.

I don't know how easy it is to disengage the cable that opens the door from the inside. They have a spring load on them usually to make them pop open. Might talk to someone at a body shop . They also make after market gas doors that you can install yourself. Some look pretty cool.
