Kfu edc???

The reason I ask is that my neighbor, an older retired gentelman, had his birthday on Friday. He has been a mentor to me when it comes to outdoors. I have never met anyone who knows more about the native plants and animals of Western NC and eastern TN. any way I have a Far North Bush Knife (FNBK) that Mark Wohlwend made me. I carry it everywhere, and I used it in front of him tonight. I could tell by his reaction that he really liked it. Its small and can be carried in you pocket, which is perfect for him. I wrote mark and he said he had two but that they aren't done yet. Then I remembered you had a small EDC model, and just thought I would check. If you have one I would like to get it for him as a gift. If you don't its no big deal I will just ask Mark to save me one of his.

I actually am going to do about 10 over the next couple of weeks if I can. I already ordered the sheaths and the steel should be here on Tue. I have probably had 25 emails from people wanting one of the EDC knives so I figure I will just everyone know when they are done and post them up for sale on the forum.

sounds good. I will probably pick one up, but I am going to ask Mark to save me one since he just has to put handles on.

Ive owned a couple of Marks knives. Great guy, I think I heard he is cutting back to part time.

so KFU knives are gathering momentum, more rapidly than slowly
excellent!
glad to hear that, Chris!

Add another 8 or 10 members over on EDCF,who have indicated they want one....

When I get the Gnarly WharnieSheepie and post pix, that'll stir up a fresh feeding frenzy....:D

The majority of members have a favorite EDC-style knife, but a massive number have indicated a interest in the upcoming Wharnie, which is a rarer form of knife. ;)

An added bonus, for the members just getting serious about knives: the straight-edge Wharnie is the easiest knife in the known Universe to sharpen....even in the field.

And...we know where they can get 'em made!

Alan, I went over there to check out your knives... ended up reading til my coffee got cold!
Great post & pix.
. . . .That is why I drink Mountain Dew when I log on here, especially this forum . . . . :D
Be safe.
