KFU Wide Blade EDC Camping (Photo Heavy)

As the title suggests, took the KFU EDC with me camping. I took a crap load of knives with me, and tried to use them all, but didn't get the chance to.

I wanted to start a fire with the KFU because of the wicked squared spine. I knew this thing would throw tons of sparks, and it didn't disappoint:

Thanks Chris. Baby throws mad sparks, eh? I actually made some fuzzy sticks, and used them to start a fire, but forgot to take photos. I took damn near 400 photos in just 2 days. One of these days I'll get a bush crafter from you. Be after Christmas sometime.

Just let me know my friend, Ill be happy to fix you up! And on the sparks, I do the spine on purpose for that reason. I gotta secret method!

Warrior, better be careful, that long legs will want "scale wages" for that guest shot . . . .
Great pics, loved how the handle kept changing colors depending on where the sun was and the direction it was hitting the wood. That knife would like it would help a lot with any food prep you would have as well. What type fire steel were you using to start the fires ???
Chris, great knife buddy, good style, almost a perfect "camping buddy" to keep in the backpack, & excellent idea on the dual use for the spine as well . . . . :thumbup:
