Somehow I was corralled by the local media to speak about Lake Sturgeon in the Detroit River...Anyhow it was fun. I'm the ugly guy in the video who shows up at 1:18 min.....At least I'm less awkward then the reporter interviewing me :D :D

You look short in that clip

Not very impressed though, looks like they'll interview any shmo off the street ;)

I'm surprised that you didn't give Rick a shout out :D

That is cool Ken!

It is weird seeing you in a vid and not busting out a bow drill coal! LOL!

That guy was tall, but then again we were standing on a sloped beach and he was uphill of me so it looks like I'm a midget.....

I'm sure they would have included the shot of the wildertool sword hanging off my waist had I been wearing pants instead of pink speedos :D :D :D

This is good news! I grew up in Wyandotte on the US's side. Folks my parents' age (I'm 37) tell me that the river was much worse when they were younger. I know I've seen an improvement in my lifetime, but it's so gradual it's hard to quantify.

Nice spot! It's good to see conservation and fisheries at least making a blip on people's radar.

I'm not sure that reporter has ever seen a live fish in person, lol.

Not bad actually. However the female commentator at the beginning of the clip could scare a vulture off a gut pile. I've caught many river sturgeon in the North Saskatchewan, catch and release. They are a VERY powerful fish !

LMAO! I thought the same thing. Maybe she just let one rip and had to sit through it! :D

KGD, you looked good! Maybe you should apply for a tv job!

Nice appearance. I see a Karsashian like program in your future, except completely different.

Good job! Did you do the interview just for the halibut? What's with the crappie reporting? They cod have ended the piece with the sturgeon general's warning not to eat the fish there. :D
