Congrats on your first post in over 4 years, akuser!

Congrats on your first khukuri as well. I get the bulk mine from Himalayan Imports (they ship out of Reno and have a sub forum here) and a couple from Tora Blades in the United Kingdom. Larger specimens from each company have been used by me to fell trees of various sizes, as well as other, less labour intensive tasks, like limbing said trees and cutting kindling out of branches or pruning tartarian honeysuckle. Love khukuri for wood chopping tasks.

I have a few khuks and I get most of mine from HI. Tora also makes nice khuks.

That is a sweet kukri I especially like the way the Eastern and western look comes together. As for my one and only Kukri I bought it in Afghanistan and it is definitely not the highest quality as far as fit and finish go but sharpens nicely and is as solid as they come.

All my Kuk's are from H.I. Personaly the M-43 model is my all time favorite large chopper for survival and outdoor use.

I am now recently getting into knives again, and found this in my notebook with my forum info( usernames and passwords and such) So here I am.I may be known to others as well I am akuser47 on every forum that I am a member of. So hello again to all I will be around to read and chat, and to learn what I can to.

I love the collection in your avatar sweet. I cannot figure out how to put my avatar in my profile?

Thanks. Those are all from Himalayan Imports. They make quite a wide range of blades. I'm pretty sure you have to be a paying member o have an avatar.

My first (and only) Kukri is a Kukri House model. What an incredible knife! I think I may have just become an addict.

Very nice Kukri. The only one I own is the Ontario kukri that they make exclusively for Brigade Quartermaster.
