All i know is that it was purchased in India 25-30 years ago...it is very well made

If it was 25-30 yrs ago, it was around the startup of both KH and H.I. and may have come from an arun whom now is under the KHHI envelope.
It is notoriously hard to tell where it really came from, as KH and most aruns do not mark their khukuri with any type of mark.
That is why H.I. marks their product, so the consumer has reference and assurance.

It's very BASish and looks well made. The handle also looks comfy. If you find out any more info, please post. Thanks.

Look very different to me. Look at the area in front of the cho. Less significantly, the markings are quite different.

I couldnt tell because Mohd posted his picture upside down. When i stand on my head i can't see the computer screen and fall offa the chair.

Looks to be an oldie Mohd. IIRC, The early shop 1's were made in a shop run by T.B. Bishwakharma whom also supplied khukuri house at the time. When he was hospitalised for a long period quality and quantity dropped, forcing Pala and Uncle Bill to start H.I.'s own Aruns with it's own Kamis.
