I have a couple of Khukri's but would love to find new and different versions of them and other Himalayan knives. I am an extreme novice when it comes to makers, sources, and where to buy them. Any help or direction you folks can give me is greatly appreciated......of course, would like ways to get the best prices too, funds are tight for us right now!

Thank you,

Thundermoon

Welcome:)

You've come to the right place. I would check out www.himalayan-imports.com for all the khuky goodness that you desire.

If you are on a budget, Yangdu, being the kind lady that she is, usually places a few deals of the day up for sale on this forum once or twice a week.
It's first come and first serve, so ya gotta be fast:D

What are you looking for in a khuk? Maybe we can point you in the right direction:)

Sorry for my delayed response, I don't have internet at home. Mainly just interested in all the different versions and uses associated with each.....if that make sense?
Thank you!!

There's a wealth of khukuri information on the Himalayan Imports website--pictures of their manufacture, lots of different models with descriptions of what they're for and where they're from, etc. Not a bad place to start. That site is http://www.himalayan-imports.com . (I'm not deal-spotting--just tossing out a site that has a lot of information; I hope this is okay.)

Also, you are in the right place right here for information about khukris. Browse through the posts here and you will not only be entertained, but also learn an awful lot about these "crooked" knives.

Lots of the threads are "what khukri would be best for . . . " and you will start to see what folks like for certain tasks (including zombie fighting)

Welcome and have fun. HI khuks are far more than just knives.
