Khukri style handle...

On a 6" survival knife...how about it?

I have a Cold Steel SRK that I now have installed a mortised style tang on. Now I am attempting to figure out what style I should do now. I have done a khukri handle before, my first handle, and since I did not install a guard...

What do yall think?
 
I'm aware of the style of knife the SRK is. I'm just wondering if the khuk type handle will match up size wise. If you made it small enough I guess every thing will be fine. I really don't see why not. I doubt if you are going to stab the thing in any car hoods to doors. Well, that is up to you but, I wouldn't.

Are you doing OK up there in Wacko? :) :D
 
Go fer it!!!!:D Should make a very secure and comfortable handle.
 
Well guys,
I screwed it up in the first 10 minutes of shaping the handle, so it is becoming what it will become. Like many great artists have said said, "I don't know what the crap I am doing."

Lets just hope it is suppost to turn out good...:o :footinmou
 
I'm sure it will work out just fine. It isn't like it was the first handle you have made. You showed me one that looked pretty good. :)
 
It has taken a life of its own... shaping, smoothing, shaping, smoothing...again and again.

It will tell me when to stop. It already has character.:)
 
It's starting to sound interesting now. Wish I could be a little mouse in the corner. :D
