Hi all. I've been a long time Cantina lurker for over 10 years, Uncle Bill sorted me out with my first AK in about 2000. Since then a small group of friends of mine have also collected their own HI khukuris; we've clubbed together for significant birthdays, wedding presents even. Here's a pic of HI taking pride of place during the photographs at a wedding this weekend. We presented the groom with a very nice M43. the photographer was really interested; he took about 50% 'posing with bent blades' photos and 50% 'Bride's family and Ushers' type pics LOL.

Fantastic!
The cameraman in the blue shirt looks like he's saying:
"Settle down guys....i really didnt mean it! Gulp!"

Here's my wife and I cutting our cake in October 2005 with my YCS.

ah brilliant, steely gunz. totally gutted we missed the opportunity to sneak a khuk in place of the cake knife

Fantastic pics! Steely, it looks like your wife is saying "let me have that thing, you're not doing it right". Maybe she's related to mine:)

Not really, she was trying to prevent Steely from committing tameshigiri on the wedding cake.

Using a Khukuri to cut your wedding cake at your wedding proves two things: 1. You love your wife and 2. You love your Kukri. Having the two together at an important point in your life is special indeed. Congratulations Steely Gunz life just doesn't get any better. Thanks for sharing something so personal.
