I am really drawn to this knife, has anyone been using one for any amount of time now?

Does the negative blade angle get old?

I like negative blade angle but not sure this one is a little out there... so is the Cricket (SE Cricket aka. Best LBK EVER!!! :D) and I love that crazy blade shape. I like Spyderco's liner locks, and love VG-10!


Seems like a cool knife... Whatdoya' say? :cool:

Negative angle never got old for me. Actually, I should say it never got any less awesome, I love the negative angle concept. It's not as broad-spectrum as a regular blade angle but it does excel in most cutting tasks since it allows much more comfortable body angles and force expression than a more normal angle. Couple this with the excellent handle and it's a very good package overall.

I used mine for everything from the regular ol' breaking down boxes to slicing chicken in the kitchen. No complaints at all.

It's a real cool knife. :cool:

I love mine. It's my main edc. In my opinion the only thing that could make this knife better is a compression lock like the para military.
 
Well we had a wine tasting/meeting today (yes part my job is tasting wine... And get paid for it :D ) Anyways it was about an hour away an brought me with in 10 mins of the best knife shop in NC.

So I had to stop by and shoot the chit with my buddy and finger a coupla knives, take a few cell pix... And bring a... Yea you guessed it, home :D

I know it still is the honeymoon phase but I really think I am going to LOVE using this knife. It feels great in all kinds of grips, lockup is awesome, the liners are very thick, and it carrys very slim in the pocket.

Time will tell, I will give it a good workout for the next week or so then do a good review!
 
i liked it over all except the liner lock is in a kind of weird spot but doesnt look like it can be helped much because of the design. id like it much more as a back lock.
 
Thatls a pretty nice selection. I like the concept but the Khukuri never really did it for me.
