With England's national food - the Indian takeaway - it is compulsory to drink lots of cobra or lal toofan beer.

I just noticed the other day that bottles of Cobra have a crossed khukuri type crest raised in the glass.

edit: i went to www.cobrabeer.com and found out why. the original brewer was an indian ghurka.

Seem to remember this was mentioned a few months back, but my memory is going anyway.

For those who hadn't heard Uncle was oncw stopped at Narita Airport in Japan and questioned closely about having any weapons in his suitcase. He insisted he didn't, and they pointed to an X-ray of his luggage showing a khuk inside.

He opened it up and there was a bottle of Khukuri Rum, with glass bottle in the shape of a khuk. Smiles and laughter all around.

I can't see anything except a little square box with a square, circle and triangle in it. Do you need some kind of player program to see the page?

Thanks Dan.
I guess my spyware and such prevents me from downloading it. I've tried several times and nothing happens, doesn't even give me a reason why.:(

Not Cobra beer, but similar!! Had one to accompany a curry at my local Nepali restuarant!! Had to keep the bottle for obvious reasons!!
