If you are new to the blades and think them a slab with an edge beat in, think again.

The knives from Himalayan Imports are a VERY sophisticated bit of forging in all dimensions. This much forging by hand, for the prices asked by Yangdu, simply amazes me.

And this is one of their plainer blades....and even it is so complex you can tell it was giving digital camera a brain hernia trying to make sense of it...."this does not compute...This Does Not Compute....THIS DOES NOT COMP(pop! sizzle.....)"

When normally it looks like this....

Actually quite terrible...had to shift hand several times and did not keep blade constant to a reference point in background and had to join the camera in fighting off tendency in some shots to angle blade up or down so that it made better sense or looked "better"..
If i get around to it, will shoot another series and try to do better and insert here as replacement photos....

Awesome indeed! My best camera is my cell-phone (safe to say it isn't that good) but that's a looker of a khuk for sure.

These are cell phone too....easier to adjust than most new cameras in my opinion....best low distorsion shots are from far away with a narrower field lens....the more rounded the lens, the wider the angle and the more distorsion....all zoom does on most digitals is expand the distorted picture....near every photo on the net of guns or knives prides itself on how racy and distorted...and nobody has a clue what product looks like until they buy one....and then take even more distorted photos....strange world we live in where quality means zilch across the board....i did the 180 to try to get past the distorsion to give some idea of what they are really like

Very nice! while they might look off to you, I still thnk they are good and valuable pictures for folks that don't have one of these blades in hand yet. Thanks for twisting you wrist (and mind) into the necessary angles. :D

And a twisted wrist is not as scary as a twisted mind. Especially with khukuri in hand.
