We all speak of it, but not about it... Khukuris talking to us. Maybe it is a symptom of HIKV, maybe we really are crazy.

What do your Khukuris say to you?

--Dave

Ps. Please limit your replies to shapely wome..er...khukuris and not their furry scabbards or other tools of the trade.

Sometimes mine ask me if they can go to the mall shopping with me. I have to explain to them that the mall police would not appreciate their presents at the mall!:D

...but I don't talk back to them (that's weird, Chris...really weird  ) Besides, with their heavy accents, how do you know they are saying "to the mall, shopping", and not "to the wall, chopping"...being outdoor types, maybe they just want another window...for fresh air.

Is that better than furry scabbards, Dave :p

Don't worry Chris, we talk to khukuris too ...Then we translate for Uncle Bill ;)

The only ones that talk to me are Ashley, the Durba AK, YCS, and my katana. ...

We all just finished watching "The Musketeer" ... well, the katana didn't. He was upset that there were no other katanas in the show and stayed in the bedroom pouting.

Ashley thought the movie was great. ... very cool fight scenes. YCS was mumbling about how he would have done stuff differently had he been there. The AK just wanted more fighting, explosions and mayhem. I thought the melding of Eastern fighting techniques and western fence was a pretty cool (and different) method. It was actually fun to watch.

And, my favorite fop Tim Roth was the bad guy once again. But Ashley and I agree he was better in Rob Roy.

It is just like watching Science Mystery Theater 2000 when we watch movies. ... everyone throws in commentary as the movie goes on :D

Mine say that Tsimi should lay off those dog/cat tacos.

Bob's Daisen failure Durba 18"AK has an attitude about her. Last night while finishing up some work on the keeper I decided to put an edge on her, 2 pretty good sized nicks while chakuma-ing her.

No discussion yet, I think she it waiting to return back to her rightful owner.
Pics (on regular roll of film) and wrapping it up for shipment tonight, then tomorrow the mail!
