khukuri fighting movie del mundo

... and starring one of the deadliest exponents of unarmed combat. :barf:

I liked Kickboxer though, but only because the villain was good. :p

Oh hell- he's done about three wonderful cheese movies- what's wrong with Van Damme? I understand he was an acrobat. He obviously knows some martial arts. He also reportedly knows cocaine which is why he always stayed cheese with no break through into serious movies.

So give me the low down? He's too pretty? Not real enough for you guys?

I'll tell you one thing, there is no one who gets up from an asswhooping and comes from the ashes like Van Damme. In a world where that is a standard cliche he does it better than anyone.

I've been told what's his name- the Texas Trooper- knows his stuff and is a good guy, despite beating up a few folks when he was younger just to prove his whatever. And I like Jackie Chan- I'm betting he is real even though his movies are not. Anyone who breaks that many bones shooting film is OK in my book.

Segal always struck me as a thug, but he may have grown up by now too. Running around and saving Alaska wildlife or whatever was a bit smarmy.

David Carradine- I always liked, despite an extra heaping helping of pure unadulterated Eastern Mystic Corn Pone. He finally mastered some belt too. AFter he was found out of his mind in some Hollywood hut, gorked on drugs and 'meditating'.

Oh well- gorked on drugs and meditating. Used to work for me. I never trashed a hollywood home though. I did keep a 32 galloon trash can in my living room for empties, though.

sniff- how come I never got to be a film star?? !!

I don't know much about Jet Li.

There's some Hong Kong folks who seem to me to be real good- a lady and a couple guys with names I cannot remember or pronounce. There's a trilogy they've done that is funny and outstanding. It's so good even the "arts' people like it- and you'll find their movies next to 7 Samurai on the Sundance or Independant film channels.

Ugh. I hate Cyborg. If you watch carefully, you notice toward the end that the bad guy is actually much smaller than VD- he's just ripped as hell.
