We have a small tree down in the front yard from last night's storm which ought to provide a light workout for a couple of my newer/untested Khuks.

No time today, and it's supposed to rain more tomorrow, but I hope to have at it Friday- if not, then definitely during the weekend. :)

There WILL be pics! :D

I will want pix or a video. You never did show off your Mini Tarwar or answer if it has a double edge or not...

I don't have any real fodder around me unless I cut it down or off myself and none of the trees really need it right now. :(

It's good you don't have something that needs cutting right now warty. You need to let you back heal up before you go chopping up trees.

Looking forward to your pics/vids Mac.

wish my back was healable REick, it isn't... My back will be messed up like this for the rest of my life.
It is why I can't work and why I tend to be broke more often than I wish I were...

Although it is sad to hear, I'm still sending good and healing thoughts your way warty. That has to be a major bummer, though, since it is the support of the body. Please take care. I bet you've learned alot about body mechanics.

What's the problem with your back?

In Vietnam, if we cannot heal something with modern medication, we will seek solution from traditional herbal medicine and traditional healing technique. I've seen many times it did work.

Cheers,

Hung

Hung, I have used many traditional Chinese Medicinal methods and so far none have cured my back. I have gotten relief from the pain, so I still use some of them, but to cure my back seems to be not able to be done, at least nothing I have tried yet has really worked. My back was hurt in a car accident. Since then I have developed severe arthritis, plus I have a lot of extra scar tissue that has grown in and there are some bits of it that occasionally come loose and then lodge against my spinal nerve. This is very painful for me and can leave me anything from able to walk but just barely to completely bed ridden. It can last as little as an hour to as long as six months, so for that was the longest but no doubt it can be longer or even permanent. At present, there is nothing that can be done since if they try to operate again, I will likely just fill up with scar tissue again and it will start all over again. So what is being done is once in a while I have an injection to digest some of the tissue away and this has been slowly working and relieving a lot of the occurrences of those break away pain spikes. Maybe, in time that will cure that part but the arthritis alone can also leave me in bed sometimes. So I stay as active as I am able to keep my back and my body as healthy as possible and I do some strengthening exercises as well as try not to further injure my back by doing stupid things like I used to do when I was young and foolish (not that @ 47 I am very old, just a bit less foolish I hope ;))

During storms I always hope for limbs down in my yard so I have something to chop! "Unfortunately" the weather has been fairly mild this summer. Fortunately, we did take down a big part of a mulberry tree that needed a few branch-ectomies.

Got 'er all chopped up. Took a couple of "project" knives out for a mild beating and did get some pics. Will post them soon- probably start another thread. :)

Warty,

Does the back injury make your hand numb? or gives you a good idea the rain is coming when it hurts like mad (my tendinitis on my knee and the scar tissues on my left index finger do, pretty good weather forecast.)

If you could and you should, lay your back flat on a plank or hard surface with a mini pillow on your low back as cushioning, do plenty of exercise raising your legs up to strengthen your lower body and core. Static cycling helps blood circulations on lower extremities. When you got a strong stomach, backpain will fly away. But before so, always consult a doctor.

You take good care of yourself, dude.
Recover well so we can see more of your reviews.
