So i like the 15" Victor (Seek n Destroy) that Khukuri House is selling but a knife with a 15 inch blade and a weight of 1250 grams is too big and heavy. So i'm planning to order a custom made one that weight less with a smaller blade.

My question is have anyone here ordered a custom made khukuri from Khukuri house before, and could give me some information about how it's exactly done?

I have not, but there's a guy who posted a review of some KHHI khuks in the review section. His were customs. It's possible the companies are the same, as several are, just using different sales outlets or names. maybe check with him. It seems to me that most of the khukuri houses khuks are often very heavy and thick. The one you mention would be a short axe. I would try HI or Tora personally. Also, if you aren't married to the traditional khuk, the Cold Steel Gurkha is tops for general woods use in my book. Good luck.

Should i private message that guy or should i post my questions on his review thread?

I can honestly say-KHHI (Khukuri house handicraft industry) customer service is excellent! When it comes to custom orders - KHHI is open to many ideas,Mr.Saroj will answer all your questions-emails in no time, will give you advice or discuss your needs,,,quality of their products is outstanding.....! My customised order was done better than I expected, after I opened package these completely hand made products left me speechless-! And on top of it-their prices are unbeatable for genuine business-KHHI is one serious manufacturer (those blades are genuine - Nepalese hand crafted ones-not Pakistan or India imported with no heat treatment and questionable low quality sort of steel on them like most of other online shops based out there to make quick buck....) KHHI is reputable you can trust these guys are real professionals....!
