Khukuri in the works...

On Don Fogg's Bladesmith's Forum, you can see a very nicely made khukuri "in the works". It's great to see knifemakers making khuks! :D

It sure is but it doesn't qualify as a khuk because it doesn't have a cho so therefore it is simply a KLO, khukuri like object, albeit a pretty one.:p ;) :D :cool:

I'm wondering how it will cut with the flat grind on the blade? Maybe it won't be too bad if he convexes the edge with a nice strong convex.:)

Given the overall form of the blade, I'd consider it a short kopis.
 
I would love to own one of Don Fogg's masterpieces. I could never afford one though, at least until I win the lottery. I bet for the price of this piece I could get a couple dozen HIs.
