We just finished watching NCIS and they actually had a khukuri at the crime scene. What can I say. :D

Bruise, I apologize, Gin mentioned nothing about the accompanying "torture knives" that would have been found close to hand had you been involved. Guess when you jump to conclusions, you're not sure where you'll land. :D  :D

Yeah, I seed that meself.:D Sure was on and off it quick ainnit, almost like a bunny doin what they do best.;) :o
It looked like they had several ethnic style blades on the wall and the bench. Glad to see it two ways, one that it did show ethnic knives of a foriegn origin and, two that it didn't show them in actual use of committing a crime.
I always did agree wholeheartedly with Uncle Bill that the HI Knives and Khukuris not be displayed in any movie in an unfavorable light so as to bring down the ire of the folks who make the laws of our land.:(
I know of one other dealer long defunct now that jumped through hoops to get their kukris on TV or in the movies.
He din't care about the kamis or the khukuris, he only cared about the money and the tremendous profit he made on them.:( :grumpy:

Hi Sarge:

I've never heard of a torture knife. Where can I buy one? I will submit a test on it.

Thanks, Steve

Dermatomes and skin knives (scalpels) come to mind.

I have a medical background, not a torture background.

I think a medical background would be a help when Sarge posts a link to the knife site.

It tells you what IDIOTS legislators are that they propose legislation based on what they see on TV shows.

Steve?

Long ago and far away...or in the last few years...someone was selling a POS khuk on eBay and referred to the chakma and karda as "torture knives."

Another eBay post referred to the cho as a "sighting" device to throw the khuk, if I recall correctly.

Yet another source talked about Gurkas hiding in a pit and slashing feet with a khuk, thus adding to the mystique.

Keep in mind, the mystery that is BruiseLeee confounds many, and cause them to speculate on his nefarious ventures. We may never know, for his identity is cloaked in the enigma of his intriques.
