I kind of hesitated posting this because I thought it was old news, but since I didn't see it anywhere else...here's some nice trivia:
The most (in)famous victim of the khukuri must definitely be...Count Dracula!
In Bram Stoker's Dracula, our poor Count has the misfortune of meeting a khukuri. First he is almost impaled by it (in downtown London, no less), and then he gets his head lobbed off by it, right in front of his castle in Transylvania.
Bram Stoker mentions the Khukuri a total of three times in the novel. I think it is rather interesting that he chooses it, rather than a sword or Bowie knife....HIKV???
