If you wonder why the name is that wacky, it's because I forged the blade for this traditional styled Tommi puukko from foot of the old kick sled. It's not completely strange material for me, but last time I made knive blade from it, was almost 15 years ago or so on. So, I decided to try it again now, when I received the material from my neighbour (many thanks to him).

Blade is 90mm long, bolsters are made from 3mm and 5mm brass plates (I did the rear bolster from two pieces, because I don't have molding tools). Grip is of course from curly birch, treated with linseed oil. Sheath from 1,8mm barked leather with alder liner.

By the way, the kick sled, of which foot I used, is in the picture, serving nowadays as a stand for flower pot.
