Connie, Becky, Jonny, and the girls are on their way to Southern Illinois for the weekend for a family reunion. I’ll be home with my dogs relaxing. (I will be heat treating Sunday). I’m sitting here with a pizza watching season 9 of Blue Bloods on Hulu.

Hope you enjoy the quiet time. I had the house to myself last Friday for a few hours. It was the first time in many years. It was too quiet, I wasn't sure what to do.

My kind of weekend. Everyone in my house is sick, even the dog, so there was a lot of hanging in the hammock since it was nice out and eating brothy foods. Gotta get outside while I can but don't want to work hard while I'm there.

This little guy was keeping us company, what a surprisingly neat little thing. Cough drop for size reference.

Sitting in the shop having coffee. Thunderstorms going on so my dogs are here with me, they are afraid of thunder, I could hear them crying in the house, so I brought them out with me.

Didn’t really relax, ground blades, heat treated, cleaned blades up, and finished knives. I’ll probably take a few days off when Connie gets home tomorrow while she is off work.
