I while back I was looking for a tough sub 4 inch blade,I avoided the rodent solution because the one I saw was hollow grind.
I did not realise you could get one in convex until last night after wasting lots of hard earned cash on other knives, guess I must pay more attention in future.

Indeed, you can get any grind you want. I have a custom Rodent Solution and a custom RMD Bowie. Both are thinned down blades with V grind's and razor sharp as they are skinning knives, not hard use knives as I requested. Trissy can hook you up at Swamp Rat Custom Shop and Garth at Busse Custom Shop.

Just let us know what you are looking for and we will do what we can to make it happen.

The RS is a real tank of a knife. If you're looking for something really heavy and thick it's the knife for you. I still have mixed feelings about mine, it just feels too beefy for a 3" knife and came pry-bar sharp, not really what I was looking for in such a small blade. I sharpened it gave it away and the new owned is happy with it, so personal choice I guess. I'd recommend looking at the Busse AMS as well, it's a similar size, but just better performance IMO.

You might find the hollow ground version, Custom Shop by the way, to be a bit more EDC friendly than the stock convex one. He hollow grind improves cutting performance and makes the knife slightly lighter as well.

Like I said in my previous post, you can get it like you want, it does not have to be a tank. I have seen a Rodent Solution posted on the forum where a guy was cutting metal with his, mine is a skinner and that if reflected in the thinned down blade. There is the factory, stock offering or the custom where it is what you as a individual wants it to be.

I would go with SR101 over INFI in a 3" blade any day. Better slicer steel.

I prefer your version to the factory.
