Kickstarter

The Pickpocket looks nice... especially for $20 shipped. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pangeadesigns/the-pickpockettm-pocketclip-bottle-opener?ref=live

I get the emails but I've only backed two projects. I is really frustrating as they are having engineering problems and running several months behind their estimates. But, you know stuff happens before you get into it too.

I had put in to back the documentary on Eddie White (Shadow Knives) but I guess it fell through with not enough backers.

I have backed the HuMn Wallet, the Lunatik Tactik Case for my Iphone, and I just picked up the Pickpocket. The TiBolt pen looks rather interesting, and I would love to pick it up. Might have to back the TiBolt if I come by an extra $100.

Nice Ramiel, I've found a few other things that are appealing, this thread may backfire on me...

Very cool GG.

trouble is that more than a few kickstarter ideas are blatant patent rip-offs of guys who legitimately should be making money on their idea, or worse case, they go to production, and the MFg just starts selling the product instead. I think its a great thing in general, but just keep in kind that not everyone is innocent.

I've backed a half-dozen projects myself, including this pretty hilarious Iphone flask that I hope makes it to production.

I also just launched my book on Kickstarter as well.

I must say, it's harder than it looks, you need to do a ton of self promotion, as well as falling back on friends and family for some of the funding because once your project isn't on the front page, it becomes very hard to find on the Kickstarter website.

Backing three video games and a flashlight right now.

The website is REALLY bad for your bankaccount.
