I have had and used a variety of small to medium packs. Most being too big for my needs.
Just got a Kifaru E&E pack. Also added a Claymore pouch, 1 Liter pouch and Cell Phone/GPS pouch to the pack.
I must say this is the most well built stuff I have ever encountered. All hand made to order so there is a wait time, but well worth it. Simply an outstanding piece of kit.

Built to give the owner plenty of options.

I also have a Kifaru EE pack and love it. Some other things I've done to customize it is to put the Large Utility Shingle pouch on it from www.emdomusa.com http://stores.skipjack.com/emdomusa/Detail.bok?no=9 The pouch fits just about perfect and the quality is excellent. I am also in the process of sewing on a velcro panel where the logo is on the front of the pouch to put a flag or other identifier. My only wish was for the zipper on the pouch to open more towards the bottom for better access. One of my buddies purchased backpack straps from Maxpedition and added them to the straps on his EE. The Maxpedition straps are slightly wider and have a bit of rubber coating to prevent the pack from slipping if you're casually carrying it with just one strap.

I'm a recent convert too: E & E and Pointman.
Superb stuff. The E & E is great for a simple, small pack that can double as a pack-pocket.
